A very well thought out set of questions, and if anyone is giving you flack for it, I would think they are out of line.

I particularly struggle with the pronoun thing and the redefining of sex. I suppose in the modern parlance my sex and my gender essentially align, but frankly, it's nobody's business but mine.

I'm male, and mainly only care if you call me late for dinner.

That being said, I know people who get all bent out of shape over it with complete strangers. Not just the lefties, either. It gets old. We honestly have a lot bigger problems to solve, many of which embody the solution to discriminatory action in their implementation. Such as universal health care, guaranteed basic income, even-handed policing... Fix the big shit and the little shit will largely sort itself.
