I am not a fan of grammar checkers. I only use it to catch really bad errors. In my opinion, none of them are any damn good. Grammarly is about the middle of the road IF you pay for it, and about the same as the rest if you don't.

Best advice is if you use it, ignore it until you're editing. Then be REAL careful, because it is specifically designed to take away your voice.
