I am very much in favor of ranked-choice voting!

I'm not much in favor of parties, though at present my politics aligns most with the Democrats. I wish there were an actual left-wing party in the US that got some notice. That could happen with ranked-choice!

First past the post is idiotic, but it's what we've got in almost every state right now.
