I like where you're aiming, but we have a serious messaging problem. Two of 'em actually.

One, a lot of people are willing to vote against their best interests if there's even a hint of safety nets. We need to educate those people. That will be hard, but not as hard as the other part.

Once we get a mass of people large enough on the side of the workers, we have to educate the corporations and their leaders. That *will* mean general strikes and civil disobedience. I'm not sure American workers have the stomach for it.
