If I believed for even one nanosecond that doing as he says would work, I'd be on it.

But I don't. These companies are a symptom of a much larger problem, and unfortunately, the short-sighted idiocy of the average man is not going to go away because an industry is under literal attack. They have all the money. It would inconvenience them to finance a few wars to utterly eradicate the violent activists, their families, and their pets. They wouldn't hesitate, and after just a few such incidents, the majority of the electorate in most countries would back them.

I think it would be better to start appealing to their long-term greed. Solar, in the long run, is cheaper. They have the money to invest, and they will continue to hold on to their monopolies. Same with wind and wave.

Let's face it: These conglomerates buy nations. It's what they do. We can't beat them at war.

I am a practicalist, which means I take political and social ideas from all sides and try to find what works. Mostly Progressive.
