My Plan B is not fast enough. I'm about to go back to school, and that schooling will be political science. After which I intend to run for office. Whether as an independent or a Democrat, I'm not certain. I think a good beginning to a "Plan B" would be for the progressives already in elected positions to get together and form a progressive party. This would break up the duopoly and be frankly more representative. The two "big tent" parties are an increasingly smaller tent, despite progressive inroads on the D side and the near-total capitulation to hyper-nationalism on the R side. Successful democracies have many parties.
In the interim, I'll support the progressive Democrats in any way my humble words can. I'm currently too broke to do much more than use my words, but it's still something. I hope.
However, this was a fantastic article and says what I've been trying to say myself far better than I'm able. I'm not certain how I missed you in the past, but that has been rectified. Followed with pleasure!
