See, I really want to argue with you here, because I'm largely uneducated. Which I regret. I've learned a LOT by just paying attention and studying on my own, but I'd be way farther ahead in life if I'd been to college.

I grew up conservative. Not republican, exactly, my parent's religion claims to be apolitical. (they lie, they just don't want the rank and file voting).

In that atmosphere, they straight up tell you that education and learning are bad for you. They want ignorant sheep, and they will have them!

It is possible to overcome it. I largely have, because the idea that "I told you so, you must believe it" never sat well with me. My peers?
