I realized that I needed to take a different approach. I love the editing, building a community, sending out newsletters (that don’t get a lot of reads!), working with and coaching people. So that’s where I placed my focus. I don’t read the articles for affirmation or debate. I read these Medium articles for editing purposes. Spelling, grammar, punctuation, structure, word use, transitions, and the like. That way, I focus on the task, not the content.
