At any rate. I work, like you, from home. In customer service. Thankfully, in an industry that doesn't have too high of a jackass ratio, but there's still plenty of them.

I literally do tell people who complain nicely that they did so. I've even told a couple of people who had real problems and a real right to be angry who instead treated me like a decent human being who was trying to help that maybe they should offer classes in how to complain!

I've also noticed that nine times out of ten, at least, the most rude have the least real complaint.
