Why? Because My life got too damn busy for a minute.
So..
I have a couple more articles partially written on UBI, I’ve been reflecting in my brief moments of just slowing down on the screwy truths of our national disaster, and just generally have been both too busy and too messed up in the head to keep anything like a regular schedule outside of my job.
On the bright side, I’m getting my first Covid Vaccine shot this Friday. First time in my life I’ve looked forward to a shot.
On the other bright side, I work for a great company, but up til last week I worked in a job that did not suit me and was sapping away my will to live. Out of the blue, without my asking, I was asked to transfer to customer service, which is something I’m comfortable with and mostly enjoy. I even got a raise. This solved a bit of a dilemma for me, since I was seriously at the point where I couldn’t face my job any more, but I didn’t want to leave a company that actually treats it’s employees like worthwhile human beings.
There really haven’t been any other bright sides in a while. I’m aware those are pretty mundane, but it’s what I got.
I swear, I’ll get back to real writing, soon. I’m not promising a schedule or anything at this point, though that’s what I’m planning on.
